Images have been released for the West End premiere of 9 to 5, currently playing at the Savoy Theatre.
9 to 5 tells the story of three female workers at Consolidated Industries as they dream up ways to get rid of their boss Franklin Hart Jr, with a soundtrack including “9 to 5”, “Get Out and Stay Out” and “Always A Woman”.
Caroline Sheen, Amber Davies and Natalie McQueen star as the female trio of workers Violet, Judy and Doralee respectively, with McQueen playing the role that Dolly Parton starred as in the 1980 film. Bonnie Langford plays the role of Roz, with Brian Conley as Franklin Hart Jr.
The cast is completed by Victoria Anderson, Alexander Bartles, Ashley Campbell, Simon Campbell, Rhiane Drummond, Demmileigh Foster, Llandyll Gove, Lucinda Lawrence, Jenny Legg, Christopher Jordan Marshall, Natasha Mould, Sean Needham, Jon Reynolds, James Royden-Lyley, Giles Surridge, Sasha Wareham and Emily Woodford.
The production is directed by Jeff Calhoun, featuring original music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. Costumes are designed by Jennie Falconer and Louise Nipper with wigs by Richard Mawbey, lighting is designed by Howard Hudson, sound design by Poti Martin and set design by Tom Martin.
